We have a very exciting opportunity for all the people with a learning disability and staff in the Midlothian community.
St Joseph’s and Kic Dance have joined forces to start an LD dance group that will be open to everyone in the community.
From there, we will be looking to move it to their local dance studio and also give the opportunity for those who attend to earn SVQ qualifications in dance, called the High Five Awards.
Kic Dance is the height of excellence and working with them in collaboration to be able to deliver this is an amazing opportunity for everyone you support.
The dance group aims to provide opportunities for the people who attend to learn and express themselves in a safe, creative and friendly environment and will be led by Tia a qualified dance instructor.
We will also be able to offer people the ability to work towards their High Five certificates which is part of a recognised SQA qualification scheme.
This group is for all levels of abilities and will be fully inclusive. Cost is £5 per person.
